The Outdoors

Getting outside and moving around is beneficial in so many ways for our physical body along with  the mental health benefits of exercise are well documented; known to reduce stress and increase dopamine; the ‘feel good’ hormone.

Adding the element of getting outdoors to do your exercise adds even more beneficial properties to your well being.   Just 15 minutes of natural sunlight per day is known to reduce depression and anxiety levels and the natural sunlight which provides vitamin D will help you sleep better at night.

If you are feeling a little stuck in the office, get outside.  Take your break at a near by park or hit the trails somewhere that noise and crowds do not demand your attention.   Your body and mind will relax and allow your creativity to shine through.    You will get back to the office feeling refreshed and possibly with some great new creative ideas to bring to the table.
